Connecting with the Women In Technology (WIT) community was a crucial component of our online marketing strategy. As a community of over 200,000 followers across platforms, I recognized the immense potential for engagement and growth that this audience presented.



To effectively engage with this community, I developed a comprehensive social media strategy that involved creating engaging and relevant content that resonated with our followers. This included sharing updates about our programs, highlighting member achievements, and providing insights into the latest industry trends and news.

As a key part of our online marketing strategy, I took the initiative to spearhead the implementation of a video strategy that included the re-launch of our YouTube channel. Recognizing the importance of video content in today's digital landscape, I saw an opportunity to better engage with our audience and provide them with a more immersive and interactive experience.



To achieve this, I filmed high-quality video content during our in-person events, while also training the WIT team on best practices for video production. I also collaborated with C-Suite executives and sponsors to create a range of compelling video content that highlighted our programs, members, and events. From informative tutorials and interviews to exciting highlights and promotional clips, our video content quickly became a hub of engaging and compelling content that resonated with our viewers.


Through this approach, we were able to broaden our reach and connect with a wider audience, while also showcasing our commitment to innovation and creativity. The success of our video strategy was a testament to the power of visual storytelling and the value of investing in high-quality content that resonates with your target audience.


We also leveraged the power of social media advertising to reach a wider audience and increase our visibility within the industry. This approach allowed us to effectively communicate our message and connect with like-minded individuals who were passionate about advancing the role of women in technology.
